First came into the USA market in 1984 and truly became popular after being the first seriously marketed Japanese single malt whisky. This is the pioneering whisky developed by suntory & can be attributed to much of the globalization of all Japanese whisky.

Named after the still’s inventor Aeneas Coffey, coffey stills are typically used for grain whisky production, making this 100% malt whisky unique. This whisky has a surprisingly rich texture and body, with a flirty sweetness.
